* violent threats against other players
* telling game staff to kill themselves
* abusive forum posts and messages directed at the game staff
* ban evasion

If you get banned for evading ban how do you get permanently banned?

Considering how long he’s played the game couldn’t you just disable his ability to communicate within the game instead?

Taking players away from the game punishes everyone. Why not just use the mute button in this case?

If he were to decide that he did want to play again is it possible the ban would or could be modified to a forums ban only? I am not trying to cause trouble by asking this, it is a sincere question.

Probably not because there seems to be no apparent reason for his outburst. Bans aren't given out lightly. They are given out when a player has a pattern of unacceptable behavior with no signs of stopping. As far as I'm aware, here are my interactions with mrford since his return:

* Creating a new game server that allows his old clan to thrive. He was playing on that server too.
* Helping to alert him that there was suspicious activity on his game account which is part of an ongoing investigation.
* Sending him a friendly ingame message.

I don't expect players to be grateful, to say thank you, or to buy premium. But I do expect them not to tell me to kill myself.

While anyone actually realizes or admits this or not it is the best reason for ever looking at these boards. They are classic , nowhere else like em. Children being children is maxed out amusing!!! Seeing someone freak out over there feeling getting hurt is never s good thing, but it sure makes time reading boards well spent most of the time. Kiss and make up. U can do that !!!

If Ford is done playing, that’s entirely his choice, and maybe he just wanted to make a dramatic exit. What I think most people are trying to express is concern about how verbal abuse is handled going forward. In-game behavior and forum discussions should probably be treated differently, especially if community feedback matters. I’m assuming it does, since not every player gets their own “XXXX is banned” thread.

It's not cool to spread misinformation. I didn't hack anyone and I'm pretty sure someone told him it was me is probably why he's mad at me. I've been friends with MrFord since day 1 of me playing this game (over 15 years). I would never compromise his account. Allow the actual programmers to look at the evidence & stop making assumptions you have no idea what you're talking about.

I'm guilty of playing along on forums bc i thought it was just a joke, but that crap you guys posted on EE discord is some real backstabber stuff. Some of you snapshot your agenda and try to create some fake news. I won't address this issue anymore. It doesn't help the game.
