I don't know about all that, but I hope atleast one of the projects I worked on over the last few years assisted in his demise.

What do you do in Israel? It was probably you taking out the terrorist leaders. You just can't get enough war.
Do as I say, not as I do.

They have lots of VC in Isreal...it is second only to Silicon Valley. By VC, I mean venture capital, not pointy hat.

You are right, I do have plenty of hate in my heart for these fluff heads.

sorry fordy, but not in the context I was using it. scott was saying he was in the vc world. if you are in the vc/pe world you are near deal flow if you are working in a desirable place in the firm, away from back office. all partners in vc and pe firms are on top of deal flow. it's not subjective, it's a term related to venture and private equity industry and directly speaks to the deals that a v.c. or p.e. firm gets paid on, so brokerage of buyouts, capital raises, debt restructuring, etc

so when someone is in that world and not near deal flow, it's a polite way of saying ... if you are even in that world, you are back office at best, but i bet you aren't really in that world ...

anyway, just trolling on scott but no subjectivity there

it is subjective because it varies from firm to firm and situation to situation. one persons deal flow could be lower than another, but they are in equal standing at their respective firms. not too sure how that isnt the definition of subjective, but whatever. i suppose you were using it colloquially since you said "no where near." do you.

Vic dealing with small startups is a small piece of what I do. I never claimed to be a shark, given the tensions in that specific region, they tend to create a lot of useful ideas for products for my industry.

Really resourceful people.

Uh it isn't subjective you little troll. Deal flow is deal flow in the p.e. world. But you are right, certain companies' deal flow is a lot more valuable obviously. Being just a bit on deal flow at NEA means a lot more than up front on deal flow at some small no name.

Also Scott, you shared a cnn link :p

i dont think subjective means what you think it means. you just said it wasnt, then just explained how it varies.

interesting logic.

it is like saying "i bet you havnt even hit the top speed" when talking about a prius and a ZR1 corvette. Yes, top speed is top speed, but it is wildly subjective. one is far easier than the other.

you are also in love with the word troll. everyone who disagrees with you isnt a troll. people need to learn that. if i came in here and said you are wrong because you are a patriots fan, that would be trolling. but i didnt. i argued the point, and conceded aspects. you just use the word to dismiss someone so you dont have to actually refute their point. it is lazy.

having trouble with definitions today arnt you? (that is trolling)
