from the control panel>public market>buy goods

i purchased 250k turrets for all my countries and the price was at $97... and it bought them off the private markets

check that under Public Market Purchases, you selected "buy cheapest goods" instead of "Always purchase from the public market regardless of price"

i don't think i was clear enough. it bought the $190 - $192 turrets off my private market instead of the $97 ones off the public.

both of those options you stated would buy from the public

Any chance the public ones were bought by someone else before your order went through or were they still there on the market at $97 after your purchase as well?

let's see, 20m * 97 + 6% = 2056400000 aka bit over 2b and that's ~128m per country so possible although unlikely that they were bought.

did you set your buy up to price at something higher than your PM?

thats possible. but with buy cheapest goods being the preference, i assumed that wouldn't matter

especially since there were 20 mil on at $97 and i only bought 4 mil total

live and learn i guess, it could have been worse

true, those pieces were developed independently though, so they were never integrated together =( I'll have to go back and do that later
