Seems like when it was decided to make this a solo server, we started losing ppl shortly afterwards. I have not checked the numbers and do not plan to, because it doesn't matter, but I am pretty sure I have a post from somewhere back then that the game would not grow and would become more stagnant. Many friends are made through those alliances and those friendships lead to people learning to play "a" strategy. Eventually, they may be interested in playing the other servers.

That is how it worked for me, at least.

I must admit that I like the game being a solo one better than I thought, but I think I was correct in my prediction. Hell, we not only lost players, we lost moderators lmao.
