my country would have stopped exploring after around 100 or so turns because i was only at 3200 acres making my explore rate 31 acres per turn.

however I, as do many others, batch with far too many turns. it is impossible to predict the proper number of turns in a batch because of the randomness in explore returns. it could have taken 95 turns, it could have taken 115, or whatever so when batching you always tell it to use more turns than it should take. because im lazy and didnt wanna calc i just batch whatever turns i have onhand.

so now not only did i not double my land, but i am WAY behind lol.

It would have been a one liner either way, he has a personal post quota he needs to meet every day.

if you are non-rep then you can't do 340 turns batchexplore until explore rate has dropped to 18 and your fully built country is just shy (like 1 acre) short of reaching 6553 acres (explore rate 17) so you'll get ~6120 acres.

as a rep you can do 340 turns batchexplore after explore rate has dropped to 20 and country is few acres short of next level (7071 acres) and you'll get ~6.8k acres.

all above assuming no eqs (wishful thinking).

"Eqs" I take it is shorthand for earthquakes. I have been wondering how the game copes with an earthquake in the midst of a batch of turns (teching in my case rather than exploring). From what I have seen the turns after the eartquake seem to be unaffected - but is that right?

yea eqs are earthquakes.

if you do like 20 turns batchteching no effect (besides indy production drops and oil production if you produce it), you get same amount of techpoints as w/o eq.

I hadn't noticed the Indie and oil drop (presumably bushels also) but the tech points being unaffected matches my experience.

Curious that for some buildings (Indies and Wells) there is an effect but for Labs there is none.

i meant production drops if gets earthquake. my bad for not being totally (mr) clear.

You know, I mad a sug about this a number of months ago, and someone said they were going to get right on it...

october actually and reminded qz about it on early december.

If you tech 50 turns at 1k tpt and have an earthquake on the first turn in, you will still produce 50k tech in 50 turns. However, if you refresh the page to tech the same amount again, it will use more than 50 turns.
