I did not know players could change their names midgame? He did not appear on my Spy list, so I thought I never attacked him before. After attacking him, I got a message "Next stock up". As usual I was curious why someone would give me the heads up? So I sniffed around and found out WHAT THE FOX SAYS (#20) was WHAT THE fluff (#20).

So this means I lose my GDI? And he is gonna go postal on me?

im gonna let you slide only cause of the polite in game message you sent and because of the name thing ;-)

You can't change it. But I'm guessing someone probably reported the name as offensive.

Which is the sufficient for a mod to change the name.

i kind of have made a game of seeing what funny names the mods change me too. the funniest i can recall is when they changed me from "RON PAUL fluff NIGGA" to "RON PAUL IS MY WORLD" ^_^ i like our mods

I exchanged messages with the guy, he didn't change the name, it got changed by the admin/mods.

Send him a message apologising. He seemed a reasonable sort, he might accept it.

You only lose GDI with him so if he accepts your apology you are good.
