simple fix...

Get your local industry to generate more private market units by giving them oil.
Spend 40 oil generate 30 troops, 25 turrets, 25 jets and 10 tanks to be available for purchase on the Private Market.

lol market is empty cuz peoples big countries have orders under certain price then resell higher and have their smalls buy them out

what I normally do at this time I I buyout my private and resell at their orders they get to make money and so do I :) but not this set

Zipper.. then put your oil on at like 180-200 not 500..

look at the SO for units you can gain a 5-10% profit off your private with almost no mil tech, you just have to log on when it sells to sell the rest of it :P
