Why are you going to be hit for sure anyway? It's not very hard to avoid being hit.

Coming out with intentionally low defense so you can wrap yourself in a cloak of DR invincibility for 24+ hours is a flaw.

That's not true. Intentionally exploiting the DR flaw/"bug" is against the rules, as stated by Warster. The cheap tactics you're talking about aren't blatant enough to earn a deletion, but that's still the rule.
