Volume of sales of BUS/RES didn't increase during the initial decline. It jumped around, but there wasn't an overall upward trend in volume. Aside from yesterday(A weekend), which had higher than normal volume, which may have saved the price of tech to a certain extent.
I will agree with your theory in regards to Agri Tech, to a certain extent. But you'll notice that as supply and demand rose for it earlier in the set, price hovered at $4000 like everything else.
IMHO, the price of BUS/RES sets the approximate prices for everything else, typically with Agri selling for a little more than BUS/RES.
