Edit: As I think about this day, 12 years ago, I cannot help but to remember the unsung heroes of this day. These are people whose story has scarcely been told. The story of Canada's response to 9/11. On 9/11, the United States closed our airspace and Canada rose to help us in our hours of need, receiving those international flights that were too far into their flights to turn around.
