I'm new to this game, as I have just started 3 days ago. I'm currently playing the Express mode. I have noticed that Express mode lasts approx. 3 to 4 days. Does it restart again immediatley after this round ends today?

I feel I have learned so much in just a short amount of time. I hope to be a top contender next round. I have befriended a few great players who are top players. I know they have long time gaming partners and don't have much room for me to join there forces/alliance.
