I do remember playing a demo techer and buying any bushels under $35 once my tech was maxed though to resell on private market.

Private market sales price is $29 right now. It used to be higher but it wasn’t $300. I would have had a $700 million nw fascist farmer on my record if I was able to destock at $300 a bushel. $35 or $38 is the highest I remember selling bushels on private market I think. I may be wrong though.

I think you are misremembering the buying price of bushels @ 360 celphi. I don’t recall ever seeing the sell price at anything higher than $38 and that was with a demo with max tech.

Theos bushel prices are way lower so you don’t want to sell bushels as a Theo. You either need to sell on public market or switch to monarch to sell and then switch back over to Theo to destock. That’s a very common tactic and I have used to myself to hit my highest scores.

Having said that I also thought fascist farmer was weaker after the bushels dropped on PM pricing. Harder to get the initial $$$ to get your tech up. Oil rigs are the best bet by they are market dependent as well.

That was a tech start farmer btw. I was testing it on this server to see how it would do. It had 100 turns stored so it should have been maybe a little under 40 or around there but I ran my turns too late. Not too bad. I think within 100 bpt instead of the 70 I had it could easily break 50 mil. I had several dozen grabs that were only 50 acres so my playing of it wasn’t optimal for it by any means.

I think the wild market swings on non bot servers like team are the most exciting part of the game. It’s cool seeing farmer be super strong on sets like this and it makes every strategy at least have a chance at a great set. If the market is that crazy then demo techer reseller is a lot of fun.

Since Tmac isn’t here to defend himself I will put it out there he played with snake on team and we have the highest score over on that server. That’s why I have the #1 spot for highest 3 NW. I think we hit 210 mil, that was a set or two after tmac left I think but with him we may have hit 225 or more possibly.

I think it’s possible that score will never be beat. If anyone does it I assume it will be Gerdlers crew.

Every player on the team was elite to accomplish that it was definitely a team effort. Andrew and Tert and Nite and Crackhead I think played that last round with us. Very skilled team.

Apparently when they hit them, Iran prioritized their missile stockpile and ability to respond over their military bases and other stuff. I think they have 20,000 missiles and that’s including hypersonic missiles if I’m not mistaken.

Im thinking the US will get involved, I doubt they will allow the missile exchange to continue for long term.

The big wild card is how much help and supplies they will receive from their allies. It seems like their air defense is severely compromised.

It’s not looking good for Iran that’s for sure but I think both sides are going to take some damage in this exchange.

Those aircraft carriers are vulnerable too, Iran has invested a lot on their anti missile tech.

I forgot there was an in game search. I was talking about estats too in my post. It would be cool if estats was right. I find estats to be not only very helpful but it also makes the game more enjoyable. The leaderboards on it are a great aspect. It makes the wars more interesting to see how they are stacking up against the competition.

Tech starts are better until everyone runs a tech start and tech is $2,000. Then the cash start will flex its strength.

I can see him using that much. I’m always buying oil in 300-400k chunks once I get big and it goes fast. We clear the market out late set often times and the prices get crazy after that. I’ve seen oil over $1000 during this part of the set. You may not see the demand in the market because a lot of the fascists will build 5-6k rigs early on and that will cover most of their oil for the set. It also allows full production until you can get your tech levels up for your farms.

Hey it evens out if you consider I have to run a war build to not get suicided every set. I had full SDI and spies because of that. I could have very easily pushed it higher otherwise. That’s my 8th first place finish on this server and I’ve said on here many times I think the war machines can be used to net.

I wonder how many express kills you have Celphi?

I noticed my player profile doesn’t record express kills. It would be cool to see how many everyone has had on this server. My last set I got a kill and my total kills stayed at 3 and never went to 4, I’ve had that many kills this year on express though so I know that’s not right.

To update this tech start walk through, I have found that during sets with higher tech prices it’s better to tech longer tech phases. (Some players go as high as 700k tech, others as low as 65k depending on the server as well)

Anywhere from 200-300 turns during your tech phase works very well on any server though. Having a good amount of military strat and weapons tech helps close the land gap that you will need to catch up on with the cash starts.

What you are describing is called a tech start. You have the general idea. We tech until levels are appropriate and then convert from techer and play as our main strategy.

To answer your other question, 10-20 percent of your buildings as indies should cover your spies. You can run higher spy count for wars. Spies are very strong in wars.
