Yeah this really frustrates me now too. Stuff used to move on the market regardless of time of day, now with so few players dirt cheap mill can sit on the market for half a day and then suddenly the market is empty. Because it’s only 2-3 players buying significant amount of military on the whole server.

Assuming you're fully built, it will cap at 1920a, the number of turns that will take depends on government. You can't explore any more if you have more land unbuilt then built.

It's going to depend on the player more than anything, but republics the highest. It's also dependent on landgoal. If you just want to get to 15k and tech out, you only want to do the first batch. If you're trying to be a fatass casher, the second batch from 3800 acres is probably a good idea.

I'm planning to run all-X this round personally, we'll see if I can avoid having to retal.

Declare war is still there, I don't think it bypasses humanitarians range but it does give you an attack bonus IIRC. It's mostly a thing for other servers at this point as far as I can tell, as GDI works differently on alliance server and team server.

Re: I’m keen to see how you do going all-x. The number have really dropped this set, so I’m also going to try and do as much exploring as possible (normally I only do one batch explore all set at 1920a) since they few targets that are there are perpetually in DR. Also going to try and follow Delphis rule and only make 1 grab her country…. Although I don’t know if I’ll pull that off lol.

Quite a bit of drama here. Just want to put it out there since my country was mentioned here, that I haven't had any interaction with Hess aside from a tech start at the beginning of the set messages can confirm that. I have nothing do with with any of his actions. I'm with SF, Cath should definitely follow the policy that I think we all have on here, which is, if someone double taps up, they get WRECKED. As its been 4 hits now, if it was me, I would unload on him, just don't tell anyone as SF said! We're all lone wolves on this server, lets keep it that way. And for the record, I don't want anyone to leave this game, you included Cath, we all make it colorful in our own way.

Read it again, you break GDI by doing 2 or more hits, not 3 or more. So you break GDI on the second one.

The rule still applies and doesn’t specify SS and PS, so yes you can retal with one nuke and not break GDI.

Isn’t that every game or sport or even life? With the exception of playing through a story line, it’s all monotonous, grinding the same dungeon over and over in a rpg, playing the same character in the same map most of the time in a fps, doing basically the exactY same thing with the same map and units in an rts. Sports is the same too, you’d think a couple of people trying to get a ball in a net, the goals or whatever would bore people, but it doesn’t, and that’s not even athletics! Even movies are like this, I swear most movies are so formulaic that I feel like I’m just watching the same movie over and over again maybe in a different setting. Yet somehow people still enjoy all this stuff, even when they’re not participating!

That argument might work if it wasn't for the fact you would never (nor need to) tell a farmer to 'build some indies' if the market is empty, because they can just go to the private market and get them for a reasonable price. The fact that there is a relatively low ceiling for what price you can sell mil on the public market for before its cheaper to get on private, and not the same for bushels has always perplexed me.

I don't think it will work very well, as it just adds and extra benefit to stop RoRs/War. since countries getting RoR are generally always among the biggest in the game already, not only do they get to launch missiles first, they also have the funds to buy up a crap ton of missiles, therefore truly decimating the country that RoR them to the point recovery would be impossible. But maybe that is a good thing. With a mechanic like that maybe RoRs would disappear?
