Mostly renown for his involvement in the former ICN (Infernal Council of Nations) clan in Earth 2025, he held many titles mostly notably High Council with in. Sadly it was a very long time ago, so I do not remember the reason why he was "chased out" of ICN, and basically forced to change his nick. Here is a section of my EE wiki mentioning Rep. Note, I wrote this in 3rd person during the time in Earth 2025 an Earth Council server existed, and his clan called Vanguard was competitive in it.

Replica was chronically ill during his last years of life, going in and out of the hospital from what I gathered from his facebook. March 16th he reported he spent 24 consecutive days in the hospital, and was coming home. He enjoyed collecting retro video games from yard sales, and his last haul was that of pokemon gameboy games. I don't know why, but he always called me by my last name just like my IRL friends did on facebook, which always warmed my heart I guess you would say (not really sure how to express this).

I have been having a huge issue with excessive logs generating on the site, causing the server to run out of disk. After many headaches and solutions I've finally solved the issue! Also, since ever since I moved the VM from Virtualbox to Proxmox, i caught an error in the VMs setup giving it a really old CPU type. Switching it to a different one has made the server able to read the API much much quicker! It's a huge performance gain.

I also updated the look and feel to the Traditional Destocking portion of the website (Tools > Destocking) since oil destocking and dropping land on the last day is no longer a thing in this game.

Probably not. Cost savings from AWS are usually from using their apps, and scalability.... not by just throwing a VM in the cloud.

ah sorry to hear! RIP to her. I hate to say it but this obit is pretty bad with providing names and details of the like. Every sentence is a cliff hanger, and if one of her ancestors in the future look it up they would be lost. Whoever wrote it needs to be fired.

During the 2 day off days between sets (is it 2 days? i dont remember), you would have to set up a pre set system to allow tagging, and pacting. Be allowed to set your ducks in a row that dont affect NW before turns are flowing. I kinda wondered why you were never able to login to your country in a frozen preset state to set up options like tax, production, pacts and tagging etc.

It hasnt for more than 3 years.

You can now search the Ranks List page for "Player" or "Bot" to view either all bots or not. I have also updated the Top Ten Lists page to add a Top Ten section for bots only, and also ensure the Top Ten for players is only for players countries.

Also, if you notice the site has stopped syncing or some other issue please don't hesitate to contact me via forum PM or discord. For instance, this past week I had multiple power outages multiple days due to storms, and I didn't notice the site was not updating because I don't play the game.

Your request is denied. Start playing like a SOLer with honor and integrity. You represent the tag and bullying like what reminds me of a high schooler would do through ingame messages is unacceptable. Then crying about it on AT is just laughable.

You know it's an old site because it shows honor as a value.

To be fair, you don't provide any instructions on how to start up and use this program on your readme file.

I think the issue is two fold:
1. Can untagged countries know what tag is passwordless? If not, this would be helpful
2. Shouldn't the UI have instruction on how to join a passwordless clan?

It's not a game, but here is an example using mkdocs to build the pages and site. Basically all people would have to do to contribute is to add/edit pages in markdown language in the docs folder via a PR. The wiki would be reachable with a link like orgname.github.io/ and people with the proper rights like mods or admins would be able to clone the repo locally to their pcs, accept the PRs, rebuild the wiki with mkdocs commands and then push the commit of new wiki files/configs to show the new page updates.

This wiki isnt active anymore btw and the proper domain in the readme is no longer the wiki.

A wiki can be hosted on github for free. Perhaps decommission the hope and dream of fixing the account issue on the current wiki and create a new wiki on the EE github. This way, changes can be approved via pull requests, even by us mods once allowed, and plus its free.

What came to my mind is if you think of a FPS video game, you can choose the amount of bots the other team can have before a match starts.

I noticed that dead/deleted countries are not kept on the current ranks once a dead country logged into and has restarted, so the site was missing displaying the dead unless they were searched for. I have added the dead in the Ranks List. At some point I will do the same on Clan pages.

There isnt any value. Even on desktop its a pain to delete the 0s. Just add html input placeholder attribute of "0" to show noobs a number is expected as input. This allows clicking on the box and just inputing.

25% of the round is a large amount of time. Why wouldn't it be closer to when humanitarian ranges increase at the end of the set?

If you have a parking lot country with 25% of the set remaining, you are basically useless and can't reinvent yourself for 25% of the round

The AlphaUI is in limbo, and its been years since I played FFA... Was the FFA control panel ever 100% completed in the current UI?

We have needed the bots to retal for years now. This server used to be about netgaining through war, politics and strategy between the clans and solo players. Playing your turns in some what of fear in the back of your mind if you have enough defense to defend itself after a day full of grabbing.

Warring does take too much time as well. Sitting and waiting for enough players to do KRs, or waiting around to be hit in IRC just doesnt fit with many lifestyles of players.

This server or Earth empires really should not be a "no hit" solo no interaction dead 100% number crunching no consequences server.

Its not a full advisor. Only the units that would assist with the pact.

VPN use isnt the problem. VPN use + multiple game accounts for 1 person = the problem ;)

If you notice, you can use as many IPs as you want because ya know we travel, work, go to school, use mobiles, etc. This is like using a VPN. But if you cross paths with another game account with similar attributes that are too coincidental to ignore especially paired with other evidence, then that is when you have a problem.

So TLDR, if you have 1 game account and use a VPN... you should be all gravy baby and should have nothing to worry about.

Offensive/defensive allies can only send 25% of their available standing army. If something is PS'd away, then those forces arent available to you. Also if you only send jets on a SS for example, then your OA will only give you jets (troops or tanks from the OA arent sent for the SS). It's always best to ally someone with similar sized forces so that you get the full 25%.

Because Earth has always been a game of chance, strategy, and skill. Whether it be politically protecting your country to random events coded into the game or by players willing to land grab you randomly. That is why after all there is a bonus that has to do with Luck.

I'm happy to report DR is now on the Ranks List and is also color coded on it and the countries page. I've adjusted the rounding to 3 places instead of 1. I've also massively improved database seek and write times by adding Indexes. Man its crazy how doing that improves load times and I just learned about it.

Thanks to AndrewMoose for making this possible by providing the equation. I grab the last 72 hours of defends. I used Dr = x*.5^(t/24) where x is 1 or . 5 depending on success or fail and t is the time in hours since the attack. So if a successful attack happened at 10pm, and its now 12am... T=2, x = 1.

For express I grab only 24 hours of defends, and changed the formula to Dr = x*.5^(t/8) to adjust for 8 hour half life.

I also ignore missile attacks, as tmac stated in another thread these do not contribute to DR.

I would like to add colors to the number to express severity. Would you say DR between 1-3 is green, 4-6 is yellow, and 7++ is red?
