The whole interface was a scene from WarGames. BBS servers were an interesting thing. Imagine a forum before a forum that you had to connect to like IRC. For anyone who is unfamiliar....

I'm an oldie, 2003/4.
We came from the SWG boards in our hordes of thousands. We fecked around and most left, leaving behind the GAT. who merged into PDM. Now in 2020 I'm a sad old gal, playing this stupid texzt based game again, and bloody loving it ! :)

Does everyone have a favorite dead alliance and favorite dead enemy alliance?

I think my favorite enemy will always be Avengers. FBI had a humorous ongoing battle with them. Mostly suiciding and AB warring. We may have had a legit war with them at some point. But when either side got bored during a set, we would FS the other. This went on for about a year or so.

I think my favorite alliance that is gone might be HAN or TGA. They dominated for so long. Before any of tools we have now. Just spreadsheets, multies, and good times.

Also, what was the name of the dude who did the bazaar sales (something emporium....crazyeddie?)? I dont remember if he was around before or after the public market. But his ads were like a late night home shopping network show.

I PLAYED Earth 2025 back in Junior high.

I started back in 2001 so i guess you could call me an E2025 person. As far as alliances go my favorite dead alliance would be Renegades. But I'm biased since that was my first alliance I was in. My favorite enemy alliance would be Clowns with Guns, had some good wars fighting with and against them.
