I didn't know there was a change to the way adding stock bushels to market. I used to always do $400 bushels.

How did that change your stock, and cause you to finish with a lower NW?

I couldnt get my food on market so i sold it on private market. Then I was stuck buying units earlier than i wanted.

I'm pretty sure I used to sell my food at 3-400 on market., so this must be like 2-3 yr change.

I'm still a lil rusty with the game.

Don't think any of these things have changed in the past decade (public selling price limited to 3x private, time to market is up to 40min, being able to select length of time it stays on market, ability to recall etc.). The price of bushels on the PM has changed but that's it.

You can actually get details on time to market, market clearing prices for stuff like tech in https://www.earthempires.com/express/serverdetails. (Details are different for each server.)

I think the issue was the base bushel price being around $100, so 3x would be $300. In the past, I didn’t really use military bases, but since I had the max this time, the price dropped which probably explains why I couldn’t list them on the market.

That was a tech start farmer btw. I was testing it on this server to see how it would do. It had 100 turns stored so it should have been maybe a little under 40 or around there but I ran my turns too late. Not too bad. I think within 100 bpt instead of the 70 I had it could easily break 50 mil. I had several dozen grabs that were only 50 acres so my playing of it wasn’t optimal for it by any means.

I think you are misremembering the buying price of bushels @ 360 celphi. I don’t recall ever seeing the sell price at anything higher than $38 and that was with a demo with max tech.

Theos bushel prices are way lower so you don’t want to sell bushels as a Theo. You either need to sell on public market or switch to monarch to sell and then switch back over to Theo to destock. That’s a very common tactic and I have used to myself to hit my highest scores.

Having said that I also thought fascist farmer was weaker after the bushels dropped on PM pricing. Harder to get the initial $$$ to get your tech up. Oil rigs are the best bet by they are market dependent as well.

If you look at private market right now,. it's at $100.
I don't think it's 3x your private sell price., but rather 3x your private buy price.

Also I played Demo not Theo.

Private market sales price is $29 right now. It used to be higher but it wasn’t $300. I would have had a $700 million nw fascist farmer on my record if I was able to destock at $300 a bushel. $35 or $38 is the highest I remember selling bushels on private market I think. I may be wrong though.

I do remember playing a demo techer and buying any bushels under $35 once my tech was maxed though to resell on private market.

You're looking at where you SELL your units on private market.

Look at where you BUY your units on private market.

You buy bushels on private market for your destock?

Or you are saying the public market used to have $300 bushels sell? I don’t remember any of those things either way unless it was some buyout or something like that.

What Slag was explaining is this:

The max you can sell bushels for on the public market is based on 3 times the private market buy price, not the sell price. So if the private market buy price is 100, the most you can list on public is 300.

In my case, I had military bases, which lowered my private market buy price to under 100. That means my public market cap was under 300, which is probably why I couldn't list them.

Post one of these sets because I want to see the scores people hit. Even a single set will be fine or any kind of record of it whatsoever.

I’ve played rep casher since the swirve days and I was destocking back then and I don’t ever recall seeing any sets where I was able to unload bushels at $300 outside of the sketchy oil and food buyouts that would happen. You may have played one of those sets but I don’t think that was the norm. If it was i would definitely like to see this.
