I've been playing so long that terms like "I got Mehuled" were relevant, you could buy and sell missiles on the market, and had to declare war on a country to do a landgrab.

could run as many countries as you wanted....could give away, receive or trade countries any way you wanted....I've had well over 300 great war built countries given to me for various reasons on many occasions....troops didn't need oil....remember the boards people said anything they felt like, trash talk was beyond trashy....when you looked at boards everytime you looked at them might take 30 minutes to an hour to read most but not all posts and when you finished the boards were back full of new posts again....several clans could put together a war chat literally any hour of the day with over thousands of countries in less than 15 minutes....to name a few differences in now days. And all that was legal and normal happenings. I Could go on, but times will always change to keep up, usually for the best! Be thankful for what you always have! Good admins and moderators like are here now included. Nothing personal against him, but Mehul was just another young kid himself trying to manage a daycare center

Bragging or complaining? Slagpit and others have tried leveling the playing field without nerds running 500 countries. Who has that kind of freaking time? But much love of the freakishly weird reality that was this game.

You guys don't know anything about the old earth days. When I started IMP AND HOMER had 60.000 countries tagged between them. 30K in each clan for the big Wars. When some one popped off online and made a bad remark they and their entire clan were wiped out inside of one hour. I ran 3000 countries by myself with my bot name PAMELA. It was faster than running 16 now. I had a kill ratio of 22 and hour by myself while i was sipping on my Crown Royal. That was on dial up with the fastest machine of the day a pentuim 1. Makes me laugh now adays that computer was like a turtle compared to what i run now. 30 years flies by when you are having fun. Lol

Doug ..no idea who u are but u seemed to be possibly alluding that I was a cheater, and even bragging? or complaining? No clue how you could come to any conclusion like that. Nothing in my post indicated anything close. Was just attempting to make light of some of the MANY changes in the game over the years! I don't even know of you nor imo is/was there ever anything to brag or complain about.. as UJ stated, it seems most playing do not know or recall much, if any of old earth history...did not mean to offend you or set you off, sorry for the info! As far as me cheating I never did, I never was deleted, banned, ran an illegal script or lost any countries ever since I started in 1997..I only suicided once in my life and it ironically was in this server and was 100% caused by a kids mouth that was always a mouthy worthless punk and wouldn't detag. I primarily only played old earth FFA just to war only but reading those boards were classic tho. Only played less than a third time since this server started. I can't net and never wanted to. Never even tried once to start a war because everyday in the original actual FFA some little grade schooler, jr high kid, high school kid or college kid was more than willing to pop off and begged to die..I was older than anyone when I started playing or than I've ever known or heard of since in this game and all the constant kids mouthing off made me enjoy how I played..please, dont think Im complaining or bragging, LOL, especially about being way older than a boomer...I loved the time I've been alive and I have looked hard since I started playing for anyone even close to my Generation...I never found any! Most I've seen posting on the boards since I started reading these forums that I never even read before appear to have pretty much all people have appeared to all grow up from the age perspective...no idea what ur story is, but if I wanted to get under ur skin for no reason, I could do it better than my previous post. Trust me! Again sorry for the rant as I don't appreciate being labeled something some stranger wants to call me. Have a good day sir, I'm just assuming sir? I am prob younger than you and don’t recall the origins of some places. I’ve only played in 1 clan on 1 server my entire life. But I too must apologize for being too general. My knee jerk reaction was about 60,000 countries someone said lol
