That is just a practice run for what I hope will become a much better to read/search alliance tree.

Now, what I need from the community are dates. Calendar dates. Calendar dates of when each alliance formed, merged, spun-off, died, etc. Month and year. And, maybe, perhaps either post them in this thread or via forum PM.

Yea! gnuclad ftw! though it doesn't do merging and stuff, but it's the best software i could find for this purpose anyway :)

Paradigm started in November 2001? according to the wiki entry I made. That feels late to me. I think that might a time when PDM one TNW. May or March 2001 sounds more likely to me. If someone had a link to all the old saved scores I could probably figure it out.

NLS merges into SOL 22 June 2001

CWG rejoins SOL 3 May 2002

Sparta joins SOL 22 Jul 2002

May 2004 KoH (Citadel) leaves SOL

Nov 2008 SX merges into SOL

also, i dont agree with your chart showing NLS as a LaF spinoff/demerger

Mach was in LaF for a very short time and if you need to count NLS as a demerged from someone, it would be EoS, tho we were only there for one reset, and in the words of the great Machaveli : "That was our first and last reset as a division"

But all in all, i would denote NLS as a seperate alliance.

NLS and BoA merged to become ArM

I think I remember some of them. I just can't be arsed to fix them right now.

I use to have tons on TIE. But my computer died and I lost it. I think I posted a bunch on a old TIE site, but I'm pretty sure that site is shut down now.
