Dibs, the reason that I did not post more is because I am on vacation with my wife in Colombia. I find the article interesting and don´t feel that my personal opinion on the article adds to the conversation. The ideas discussed are controversial enough and I think the citations made do more justice than any rushed summary I might have made. I hope you read the article. Ironically, it is difficult to tell based on your sarcastic reply.

Interesting link.. Quotes like 'The "War on Terror" is a fraud' and 'Those fighting in the "Arab Spring" did so for gilded tyranny' and 'the ineffectual, genocide-enabling UN' certainly make for good dinner conversation.

OMG, hyperbolic BS quote of the year:

"It is hardly a speculative theory then, that the uprisings were part of an immense geopolitical campaign conceived in the West and carried out through its proxies with the assistance of disingenuous foundations, organizations, and the stable of NGOs they maintain throughout the world."

I'd say that is pretty fluffing speculative. They find one or two low level organizers with loose ties to the US and craft a massive global conspiracy from it? Sounds like FOX news.

Dibs, stick with your first impression, it was right.

We (the US) may crow about democracy, but in reality US long term interest were much better served with stable leaders like Musharif in power. The middle eastern leaders that are the biggest pain in the ass for the US are guys like Assad and the Iranian clergy - neither of which were toppled by popular uprisings.

America does a lot of meddling, but i think this overstates what any government is really capable of. over topping pro US dictators to install democracies probably doesnt rank very high in US foriegn policy goals either. If they had this kinda power, iran, china, russia, or north korea would be the focus.

Archaic, when you read only three paragraphs of a 15page article and come out commenting guns a blazing you make little of what the article actually states. If you want to make such strong statements then perhaps you could exercise your brain a bit more by reading the information being discussed. Your comment is as short sighted as you accuse the article of being.

That pretty much sums it up Dibs. The culture that invented modern astronomy and algebra is too dumb to withstand the intellectual might of the Kardasian Empire? Its patantly racist.

For the record - I did read quite a bit of it but it was so bad I could not stomach the last 1/3 or so. Utter propaganda garbage, why am I not seeing this in The Economist? Oh - right, they are part of the 'global conspiracy'.

Citing other crackpot conspiracy blogs like the 'World Crisis Radio' (check out Genesis week!) and the Land Destroyer Report does not constitute actual journalism.
