Is bell or telus any better? I'd try out mobilicity or wind, but I'm out of the city too often and their coverage in BC is mostly limited to the greater vancouver area.

Rogers is TERRIBLE. I've been with telus for 4 months now and Im x1000 happier. So far with Telus i've found there is no BS with hidden fees, hidden rules etc etc. Don't get me wrong, Im sure there are plenty, but i will NEVER go back to rogers.

All major Canadian telecoms are very deceptive and unethical in their practices and billing.

I had bills with 18% sales tax, miscounted minutes used, and a very deceptive (and expensive) prorating billing formula. I've had to put 3 bills into excel to pick out the errors. For the effort it takes to pick out those errors, the time it takes to phone in and get them fixed and refunded I've never had any credits or discounts applied. I can't be bothered to spend a half hour scrutinizing each bill, along with the time it takes to call in and explain it out to the reps.

I can't be assed to be paranoid about the little 2-3$ charges they hide in their formulas. As convenient as cell phones are, they aren't worth the paranoia that comes from needing to be constantly aware lest you be deceived or bent over and screwed.

I won't give any of them a penny. At least consciously. But I'm sure they've found ways to sneak something in somewhere.
