Allies don't benefit you on special attacks, they do need them to fend of wouldy farmers, that's why they both agreed on this, tduong ;)

why would anyone attack a country with 20+ DR. If they don't want peeps to farm them then this thread shouldn't have been made. There are something called PMs and emails

I can see your point of having defensive allies but definitely not intel.

Warring is not limited to special attacks. For you to affectively cripple someone's production, your first 5 hits will do the most damage using PS. So how do you measure what's fair with defensive alliances? you can't unless they allied to identical countries.

Farm, AB/BR, GS are the most effective ways to win a war. So what if their spal goes up 20%. That doesn't do fluff when they have no cash and production of any kind.
These guys obviously will most likely not be able to kill each other.

War is never about fairness anyways. It's about having the advantage. If you can't deal with other people farming you then don't war. That's a possibility that can happen to both of them.

I am ok with that. the good news is you are not fighting in this war. So you having the advantage does not matter.

Jack, as i said above, The Country of Sun of Sam (#97) as of Apr 5th. Also, i might not even do any grabbing before we war. No use in worrying about retals. Winning a war means you either kill them or take away their resources/production so that they cannot spend another turn.

With that being said, the most affective first strike would be 3-5 PS.
Then you AB or BR. AB is preferable because people tends to have more turrets than tanks.

3-5 PS can instantly take away 20+% of someone's production and increase yours as well.
Therefore, you idea of fair war with def/int allies are not even close to fair. If DH or Jack has better allies than the other then it makes it extremely difficult.
By having allies, one person could have a huge FS advantage over the other.

If DH doesn't remember, I let him AB me everyday costing him a few hundred thousand tanks and then I just farm him back to get more than half the buildings back then AB him only a handful of times just enough so he loses cs and cannot rebuild. After 3 days. He was less than 1/3 of my NW. That is the power of the PS.

Don't worry about troops here, once you are over 56k pop, it takes more than the turns even a Tyr can run to kill you, Turrets and Tanks is what you want :)

there will be no cheating- once the war starts till end of set were not grabbing out side of each other- also we are not double tapping anyone before war starts. We are also not using any allis other than deff and intel. So, how could there be any cheating?I think it should make the fight as good and fair as possible for both sides. Setting the start time and having next to 0 turns at start IMO- ig great. It forces you to have a good country. It also makes the fight exciting because no one can just go tyr and make a 20 second kill rigth at the start. It makes sure this will be a bloody fight and the best man will win. I know i am not a cheat and i think Jack is not either. No advantage goes to anyone.

Tdyoung- if you think having deff allis is unfair then go UBER heavy on deff and be deff and spy allis with Jack. I do not mind. My purpose of warring him is not to grab the hell out of him- its to destroy/ and maybe kill his country. That is all.
