There is a name I haven't seen in a long time. Wow, folks are migrating back.

lol seriously? Looking back at AT Archive, some people playing Earth2025 were totally nuts and some idiots took rivalries beyond the game... Most of the game was made up of hormonal teens, while nowaday everyone is old, cynical and doesn't care.

Hahahaha... this is the real "Mehul Effect"... The longer you admin this game, the more and more you will come to despise the community until eventually you ignore them completely and change things whenever you feel like it.

i've always thought that as the community shrunk a higher percentage of the more serious (i.e., angrier) people kept playing and drove out others. this would be compared to back in e2025 when there were a lot more n00bs and people who enjoyed the game casually or as a time waster to balance out the super competitive people. i find AT to have quite a bit more anger on it than it used to, but others are right that there are less straight up crazies. except for that guy that did that thing. that was pretty effed up.

my comment was a bit harsh though and probably not the best thing to say as an admin regardless so I apologize. it was intended to come from me as a long-time player rather than an admin but I can understand how it looks. the admin stuff is a whole different ballgame with like 99.9% supporting what's going on so we can't really complain about that. We love the community. I work on the game to support the community; I'd rather code a new game if I cared about mechanics/gameplay more than the community. Or restart National Interests (Jiman will know that one :p).

Eclisod was always fun though, I hope he starts playing again. the game is actually a LOT better now, but with the turn structure FS's are really powerful on this server. I would recommend trying out express with the advanced GDI to get used to the mechanics. :)

I can the the argument here. The game is better, but it would appear AT is more cranky IMO. There are less ATers all around, but the same amount of angry BS, annoying threads...
