meh, I love football but I don't get overly invested in it. + being a maple leafs fan, i'm generally immune to sports team related beaking. the pats have already given me enough championships to placate me until 2025 regardless.

well if were gunna rename forums.. might as well rename servers.. i officially request on Alliance Trolling... that u rename team server to TSO Team server.. seeing how we run the joint

probably before, because changing a forum name takes 5 seconds and doing a proper facebook implementation requires a complete redesign and a big user experience exercise that takes would take a team of people working on it full time weeks to do.

right now the game does not do a good job of getting new users engaged in playing the game and that's been a big hurdle no one has had time to deal with properly. the community isn't stepping up to help to that effect either despite numerous attempts (some of which I tried to encourage, others were by other folks, a few were more organic). things like getting started guides, walkthroughs, basic strategy lessons, things like that would be beneficial to a new user to help get them from "ok... so I'm on the main page..." to actually building an effective country. that kind of stuff doesn't require a developer to work on nor any privileged access. this is not a new concept in this community :p

the bottom line is that the ppl who are committed to this game seem far more committed to killing others within the community and maintaining their close knit group rather than working toward the greater good for the benefit of the greater EE community.

but regardless, stfu, trife. :)

Martian had convinced me to remain involved behind the scenes after I stepped down and I was willing to contribute and help, but then someone took it upon themselves to ignore the agreement I made with Martian and delete my perms completely. I guess my input was no longer of benefit ;)
