In light of recent EE marriages, the Onion would like to announce that we are adding a special nuptials page to our writings!
And, we have our first marriage to announce.
Congradulations Iscode and PG!
We, at the onion couldn't believe it either, but we went to investigate, and this turns out to be true.
In a sitdown interview with the surprising couple, they shared their story.
"After come recent flaming, between my alliance and Imaginary Numbers, we decided to sit down and have a chat. During the chat we began to talk", stated PG.
"Yeah", interrupted Scode. "It was amazing. One of the things we learned about each other was how we are from opposite sides of the world. She's Euro, and I'm Oceanic. So I did a bit of research and learned based on GPS coordinates we are literally on opposite sides of the world.
"That's when Scode did the sweetest thing. Since, he didn't have his passort in hand he started digging a hole. Something he's quite good at if you hadn't noticed by his posts on AT, and vowed to dig a hole all the way to my house. I was so touched by the genuine but futile efforts I couldn't help fall for him."
Genuine but futile.....Scode, would these be traits you learned from Imaginary Numbers?
"Hey, I'm not appreciating where you're going with that question, but I will say, that what I learned in Imaginary Numbers is determination."
We at the onion thought we'd pry a bit more and ask how this new relationship might affect their relationship between Rival and Imaginary numbers since its been a bit on the rocks lately.
'Oh, I don't think it'll change a thing", said PG flashing her new 2 karat rock. "I fully expect Rival to beat on imaginary Numbers for the forseeable future. As an alliance leader I do my best not to let my ingame relationship interfere with my alliance politics. It wouldn't be professional."
"Besides", chimed in Iscode. "I'm a Masochist, so the more she beats on me in game, the more it'll turn me on in real life. I'm looking forward to some more beatings."
I asked when the wedding would take place. "When he finishes digging his hole", replied PG with a wink.
