So I'm having a horrible year this year after losing in the finals last season. 10 team league. Roster min-25 max-30. Starters: QB, QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, WR, TE, TE, K, DEF. No max on "keepers." We assign a total number of years that players can be signed to, similar to a salary cap. Once a player is signed, there's a penalty to renegotiate or drop. There's also a draft pick lost if you resign (keep) players after their contract expires. Lost draft pick is relative to player ranking based on Yahoo! Actual rankings.

My team:

Aaron Rodgers
Matthew Stafford
Josh Freeman
Matt Flynn
Graham Harrell
Brock Osweller

Steve Smith (CAR)
Dez Bryant
Domenik Hixon
Malcom Floyd
Michael Floyd
Devery Henderson
Mario Manningham
Arrelious Benn
Dezmon Briscoe

Alfred Morris
Ryan Matthews
BenJarvus Green-Ellis
Roy Helu
LaGarrette Blount
Kevin Smith
Chris Rainey
Robert Turbin

Antonio Gates
Dwayne Allen
Joel Dreessen
Ed fluffson

Blair Walsh

Green Bay
Buffalo

I'm 1-7 after this week and I'm entertaining lots of Picks for Players offers.

So far I have the following offers on the table. I'm looking for some advice. I know next years rookie class won't be as good as this years, but there will still be some big names - lattimore, monte ball, robert woods, barkley, kennan allen, marquess wilson - but do I give up my top players for picks when I have no guarantees? Anyways - here's what I've got on the table right now.

I trade Matthew Stafford - I receive 1st, 2nd, 7th
I trade Matthew Stafford - I receive DeSean Jackson, Jake Locker, 4th
I trade Matthew Stafford, BGE, Devery Henderson - I receive Jake Locker, Andre Johnson, Chris Johnson
I trade Aaron Rodgers, Steve Smith, Alfred Morris - I receive Joe Flacco, Mike Wallace, Arian Foster

I'd also appreciate any advice that you guys might have in terms of the value you think my players have when looking at draft picks. Keep in mind - the draft consists of rookies and players who were not kept the previous year. To give you guys an idea, here are the first 30 picks of our draft this year:
Trent Richardson, RG3, Luck, Doug Martin, BGE, Brandon Lloyd, David Wilson, Brent Celek, Eric Decker, Carson Palmer, Pierre Garcon, Justin Blackmon, Jacob Tamme, Titus Young, Ryan Tannenhill, Kendall Wright, Brandon Weeden, Malcolm Floyd, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Michael Floyd, Fred Davis, Bernard Pierce, Brian Quick, Mark Sanchez, Heath Miller, Nate Washington, Time Tebow, Robert Turbin, Isaiah Pead, Jared Cook

I would definitely consider the trade for Foster, but maybe try and get a different quarterback in return. Also why the crap is Kevin Smith even on your team?

In my opinion I think you really need to rebuild your roster. Your wide receivers are lacking a star player, as is your running back group. I would go for Foster, try and get a top 5-10 Wide receiver, try and keep either Stafford or Rodgers and aim for getting some good draft picks for next year.

I might be a bit biased as a seahawks fan but I would keep Turbin, if Marshawn Lynch ever gets hurt he has shown he can perform in this offense. Also Buffalo's defense sucks...

At any rate this is my humble opinion... I do play fantasy football so I have some experience :), though I do not play keeper leagues.

That first trade you have listed is intriguing.
I would not want Jackson on my team, but Locker is interesting, maybe try for a different wide out or running back.
I feel that Andre Johnson is slowing down... also Johnson is too hit and miss right now.
I like getting Foster, but not Flacco, I would try and structure that deal so that you get Foster and trade Rodgers, but maybe go after someone like Julio Jones or Randall Cobb. Also maybe try and get someone like Andy Dalton.

when I talked about that third trade I was referring to Chris Johnson as being too hit and miss... BUT he still has a lot of potential... I guess it depends on whether you want to take the risk. But about Andre I would not get sucked into that trade because of his name, both because he is aging but also because the offense revolves about the running game.

With only 2 RB slots you seem to have 3 viable choices, 2 clear cut and very young starters and a reserve in BJGE. Freeman has been putting up good #s and will likely continue to do so for many years, especially with the weak Ds in the NFC South, so I would call Stafford expendable. Plus I don't trust his health. Get some top WRs for him though, you're hurting there far more than any other position.

Is it a PPR league? If so Desean and Andre are not very strong, both long ball threats. If you can get a young target that the team builds around like Harvin or even Cobb I'd push for that. Stafford played well this week so maybe you can sell high.

Is it PPR. .5 per reception.

I traded Andre Johnson for Matt Stafford straight up to this guy last season.

I also traded West Welker, Coby Fleener and Brady Quinn for Josh Freeman, BJGE, and Antonio Gates earlier this year.

The guy who has Foster also has Luck, Gabbert, Brandon Lloyd, James Jones, Miles Austin, Jeremy Maclin, Doug Martin.

He's not opposed to trading Foster. RBs are more valuable and the disparity between the elite and the next tier is a lot bigger than QBs. But QBs have more longevity. A deal that includes Rodgers and Foster is not out of the question. His roster also includes

lol @ Ed fluffson :D :D

I don't really like any of the trades, perhaps the Stafford for picks one, but I'm not really experienced with dynasty leagues and next years draft class is supposed to be worse than this years.

DJax is a little fluff, and Locker isn't good enough to make up for that.
The Johnsons trade was already described. AJ isn't needed anymore in most games and age is cathcing up to him, CJ is another fluff, he isn't the same as 2-3 years ago.
I don't like the last one for several reasons: Flacco; Foster gets tons of touches this year and RBs, who had the most touches(or 300+) usually decline quite a lot in the following year(or get injured). You'd get rid of Steve Smith, though, who isn't getting younger either.

I'd try the same as bigwiggle said: try to trade Stafford for 1 or 2 decent receivers

Deal away Stafford. He's only as good as Megatron.

I'd go with the third trade except try to trade Stafford instead of Rodgers.

This leaves me with Stafford, Freeman, Flacco at QB. Foster, Matthews, BGE at RB. Wallace, Bryant, Floyd, Hixon/Manningham at WR. I'm still weak at WR. I might want to try to flip Stafford for a young QB - ponder/wilson type guy and a top WR.
