On a somewhat cool note - back when BU still had a football team and won a 1aa or div 2 national title, the coach was Dan Allen - since passed away in a tragic death while coaching at the college of the holy cross (a movie is being made about him).
The Allen's lived on my street and I was close with a son of coach Allen's ...
And their dog , Stormy , the Boston Terrier, was the mascot of BU. I always thought that was so cool at 8 years old playing with that damn thing .

But ya, get a lab

I was all about big dogs until we got our dog now. She's a Maltese, really sweet, never barks or pisses inside. And she thinks she's a 200lb Rotty and attacks the fluff out of bigger dogs which is good for a laugh

I love my Boston terrier and if anyone tried to harm him. I would then have to kill the person. He is my kid! Fordy he might be under 40 pounds but he is 27 pounds of pure muscle!

i have a lopso-opso terrier mix and his is a dog that is under 40 lbs but has a build like no other dog i have seen. the only down side to it is he doesnt play as much sense he is 17 years old.

The canine world is not really about size. The smallest dog still thinks he's "The DOG!". When I was married, I bought a Pekingese for my kids. He was actually a big dog trapped in a little dog body. He scared the crap out of the police dog that lived next door over a hotdog which had rolled off the grill.

I tried therapy, constantly reminding him that "you're a little dog", you're a little dog" over and over, but nothing worked. He was convinced he could in fact eat the German Shepard.

I don't need anger management, people need to stop pissing me off!

Also, what cerb is saying is true. My boston thinks he is atleast as big as a pit. He tried to fight one the other day because the dog scared my gf's lil chawawa/begal mix
