Even with the lower military costs and faster building?

I guess i don't understand how commie indy is the only legit one, since theo indy would be cheaper overall, or even dictator indy with the bonus strength

military costs aren't lower just private market military price. Which would be pointless for an indy who produces military.

C/I is the best Indy because of the 135% production bonus. So any choice of government will be 35% less efficient.

After saying that there is a place for a theo indy, demo indy, etc. At the start of the set to finance the building of research labs. I often build 500 indy's before I build my first lab if I am teching.

True, it sucks that commie strat is kinda cheesy. No matter what its a win strat. Whereas tech and farm get you no where because people are always there to undercut each other.

You do realize that the other C/I's can (and do) undercut each other, just like any of the other strats you mentioned.

Yeah, any strat that depends on the public market to work will always have that threat of undercutting or just cutting in general.
I am a troll. Everything I say must be assumed to be said solely to provoke an exaggerated reaction to the current topic. I fully intend to bring absolutely no substance to any discussion, ongoing or otherwise. Conversing with me is pointless.

not nearly as bad as tech though. with indy, you constantly have military, along with capabilities to attack or defend at will. Whereas tech, you have to hop that prices dont drop from 2500 to 1300 at any given moment. I just think commie/indie has far less to worry about over a farmer or techer. just an opinion, dont hate

Casher has a difficult startup, and a much weaker defense. Unless you go theo, but i dont see casher beating out a commie on maybe a tournament set or even primary

Heh, casher has won every Primary set except one for over a year. Casher has won the past several tourney sets as well.

I guess set c would have been different, i placed 3rd due to a mini land trade war with someone but it was my first time ever running commie. The set prior is went theo tech and got destroyed.

crowgora, each strategy has it's dificulties. As you said, a casher is a difficult startup. Indies have a difficult midset, and techers are highly dependent on the market.

In my opinion express is a bit more lopsided towards C/I then other servers. But I would say Primary and especially tournament are well balanced from set to set.

I guess you make a point, but based on game c, indies took the cake easily
