especially when it's by someone who goes all jets just to take you for a ton of land, knowing full well you'll get less than 200 acres off the retal.

and then you get a message saying "if you retal more than once, your set won't end well. you will win the war, but i'll make sure it hurts"

...
nice. that's after i was able to take 200 acres back on a retal after a 2000 acre top feed.

ive been top fed and all that, and yes it ticks me off big time, but at the same time i was bottom feeding anyway so i had to expect it at some point. lower ranks will eventually get tired of sucking and just gun for the top ranks

well sure you CAN hit top players. but then to try to tell a bigger country that it can only hit you back once, and has to lose a lot of land to a smaller weaker country, just cuz the smaller guy says so, is dumb. just like the small guy CAN topfeed, the big guy can do what he wants too. and should kick his ass

the annoying thing about top feeders is usually they dont give a damn about their country that much and mess with people who care about their countries more. that's their whole leverage. that way they can say "dont hit back more than once, take the loss, or else ill ruin your set." like earth empires extortion. especially in express where sets only last a week i say hit back more than once and recover your land and if they got a problem with it fluff em

The definition of topfeeding sucks. Say, I with my nice landtight little dictatorship see a country with 4 times my land in my scores list and I landgrab him, a lot of you morons would call it a topfeed because he had more land. Well, I had more military and tech than he had land. He bounces his retal and then the screaming begins. Screw You ALL, if you can't build strong enough to stop someone else from taking that land then you can just suffer in silence like that newbie player you bottomfed into the ground yesterday.

Me too. Once he tried to ROR my prompt retal but bounced because he calculated it wrong or something.

haaha that is right kingme that did go down with you once before.
and i disagree on the turns. if one is able to play effectively with delayed turns, by all means they should be able to go for it.
not the easiest thing and most nubs don't even know how to do it...
but you sure as hell can run countries more optimally and buy up the cheeeeap cheap tech the last few hours before running a fluff ton of turns

I think it would make everything more competitive, as well as help stabilize the market.

I don't deny that holding turns works well, I do it too for the reasons you mentioned.

I also run zero defense so that someone puts me into heavy DR while i'm tiny.

I just think these things could be fixed.

I think im going to top feed next set. My hopes are the obvious moron that will tank/troop roll me for 20 turns like normal, and then i have 24 hrs to go all jetter and get some massive gains.
