Maybe few of you, remember me, when I used to play a long time ago at Earth 2025 FFA - used to play in SwordxTC, Pandora, USIMP and some other clans. If you don't remember, that's not a big deal, since many years has passed.

Basically, I would like to know, how is this game compare with Earth 2025. Is it as funny as Earth was? I saw many familiar old names of players in this forum - what about the clans? Are they still around? (Pandora, USIMP, Sword, ICD)

this game is far more advanced. create! you'll see but if you play ffa id advise u to join some sort of alliance or you will not have fun. untaggeds get anal here :D

Yeah to play untag and go for all jets or tanks. And warfare.

You wouldn be k-i-l-l-e-d before you've played 800 turns or something

welcome back. game is basically same but still alot has changed since earth2025's days but reading wiki and joining to some netting alliance (like sota) will get you up-to-date.

Very pleased someone (Strike) remember my name. I had great moments with Earth with wonderful people (either allies or enemies).
I wish to give a try, but I have to be honest, I forgot most of the basics and won't be a great ad value to a clan. So if it's okay with you, Í'll greate a country to start with and then apply to a clan who will accept nearly noobs as I am :)

you could try express to get back on saddle, set lasts only 5 days so in a month you could test all 4 mainstrats (casher, indy, farmer and techer) and then be ready for next ffa set.

Was also a clan called "Tribute to Laguardia" ... the niciest lady from USIMPxTC

Definitely is a good idea to find a tag fairly fast if you haven't yet.

NBK from what I'm aware is a lot of the same guys running in the old NBK crowd from E:2025.

PANLV is led primarily by Juusto, who's an old PANLV player. There are definitely a few of the old PANLV people around in our tag, but also a lot of new blood as well (well, new to PANLV, not new to the game).

As far as the other clans you mentioned, Crippler from ICD used to run a clan called FoCuS on this server, but that clan no longer exists. As far as I know, he and many of his clanmates were last in CC, but I'm sure a CC person (like Donny who posted in this thread) could tell you for sure on that.

Swords existed for awhile under some of the old people, but they didn't last long.

The game itself, as some of the others said, is definitely pretty close to the old game, but the developers actually make changes from time to time to try to even out strategies and try to address player concerns. So you'll find the game easy to pick back up again, but you'll probably benefit from either joining a clan that can help you understand the differences or by reading random pages on the EE Wiki (which you can get to up at the top of the page).

Twain : thanks for the advise - since Sword doesn't exist anymore, I will enjoy playing again with PANLV. Back in the glory days, I spend wonderful time with that clan.

SOTA's around, bit of an on and off thing since 2010 but I've been working on getting some good people to add to the few people I have so far, activity here hasn't been what it was since two went back to XI, one can't play because his college classes started up, and one's quitting end of set in lieu of a baby on the way.

So, in all the membership has fluctuated some in these last few sets. If you're looking for a place to play, I'll be glad to have you.
