I also got lucky with food. Stocked all @ sub-40 prices yesterday, managed to sell a bunch between 55-63 and rebuy at 37, then sell again @ 40-41. Always nice to make an extra 2.5-3m NW like that. :P

it doesnt makes a difference whether u batch from 1.9k onwards because of the new building cost.

Batch from 1.9k for the 54 per acre maximization. That's what I think he's doing.

beat my score from last reset, you mean? the market was much WORSE this time around but apparently he flipped a lot of food. i don't think ive EVER gotten lucky with food on the last day of express.

What are you trying to say here? You get more land in fewer explore turns by batch exploring. Are you saying it makes no difference because buildings cost more when you go to build?

I did a few things differently.

Because the market was bad, I:

1) Started stocking 50 turns earlier
2) Held less military tech than I normally would (about 30% less)
3) Resold food while stocking (which I normally don't do at all).

Luckily for me, the market on Sat was so variable food-wise that I could.

yes u get 54 acres / turn when u batch explore 36 turns at 1.9k acres. but u're gonng build 1.9k land at the price of 3.8k acres.

It would rather do the same if you build your land while you explore.

Bought at 36-38 -> sold between 55-63 (most at 61-63).
