I got this below message.

Cannot send FA (in protection)
Cancel the defensive alliance. (must wait at least 72.00 hours)
Cancel the research alliance. (must wait at least 64.05 hours)
Reject the intelligence alliance offer.
Sever all relations. (must wait at least 72.00 hours)

It seems when you die and recreate and want to ally the same person you had an alliance with before dying the game gets confused especially if you died before the deadline for cancelling alliances.

Stop killing your allies!!!

Ya I noticed that on one of my FFA countries that died and was allied to few of my others, but since it was just one I wrote it off as a glitch :-/

hm could be protection is based off turns again instead of protection =/ i'll have to check that
