Just got a six pack of this stuff. It's not bad at all, kinda reminiscent of the English hard cider in taste.

I think I might have to at least try the strawberry variety just to be able to say I did, but the apple ale is quite good and refreshing. It will make an excellent summer drink in Florida.

Ever drink moonshine? Yep, apples.
Brandy? Fruits including often apples (albeit not the most manly drink)
Hard Cider? Well no fluff, apples... If you can't enjoy hard cider, you disgust me.
Now why not apple brew beer? and I have no clue on the others but Redds is pretty good stuff.

Maybe I am just more confident in my manliness than you bunch of sissies though.

I will drink a cosmopolitan with one hand and a strawberry daiquiri in the other, and still whip my fluff out and rest it on your wife's salad.

Redds Apple Ale...not impressed. Now this is an apple beer, but I did not think the ale part meshed very well with the apple part.

Redds Strawberry Ale mixes the ale and the strawberry very well. I do, however, suggest this beer be had with dessert or just drink it on its own in the afternoon or evening. This beer must be cold. Cold Cold Cold!

Now a good hard apple cider is Angry Orchard Crisp Apple. There is a light touch of tartness to go along with a full apple goodness. It is what it purports to be...crisp apple flavor from beginning to end.

Fordy and Trife, does this threaten your manhood, boys? LOL That's the only time I've ever noticed people fluffing about somebody else's masculinity. When their own is threatened.

Why don't you boys just go and play hide the sausage somewhere else, eh? LOL

Where did I ever mention Zima, Trife? My absolute favorite brew would leave a punk like you drooling on yourself in the corner.

So, have you and fordy decided where you're going to play hide the sausage? Or are you going to go the full Butt-Pirate Route and spend your time smuggling them?

I gather that you are a fan of hard cider, blid?

I used to make patrols out of Holy Loch, Scotland and the Raven Bar there had some great ciders in it.

The flavor profile, and alcohol kick of this new Redd's Apple Ale have been enjoyed by the Scottish for centuries, although I'm not sure they use apples to make it, nevertheless it has quite the kick, like the highlanders like it.

Go ahead Fordy and Trife make a joke about their kilts. You boys just wish to see what's under them anyway. :)

Between the fact that I believe some hefeweizens are improved by a touch of citrus and the fact that my favorite beer has Chocolate as a major ingredient (Young's Double Chocolate Stout), I won't be one to look down my nose at people who prefer fruitier beverages. At least they have flavor, which is more than can be said for most American name-brand beers...
And, Monsters, do not forget to specify, when time and place shall serve, that I am an ass.

Not particularly but it's a legit drink, they drink it in, like, ireland and fluff. state-side ive had some bold rock which is much better than redd's which is full of sugars.

Bold Rock, never heard of it, blid. I'll have to look it up. My favorite brew you can't even get here anywhere. :( They have this store in Viera, FLA called "World of Beer" and they are supposed to have everything, but even they don't have this Scottish Lager I like.

It's called Tennent's Lager, anyone from Scotland who would be interested in a little under the radar export/import with me would be welcome to send me a PM. :)

CERBERUS!

I AM MAKING MY 8TH OR 9TH PILGRIMMAGE TO SCOTLAND THIS SEPTEMBER. WE'RE ALSO GOING TO CORBY (IN ENGLAND) AND ONE OF THE BARS I KNOW WE'LL GO TO THERE SERVES TENNENTS. ITS ABOUT ALL ANYBODY IN THAT BAR DRINKS.

I WILL DRINK A DOZEN IN YOUR HONOR, AND THEN I WILL TAKE A PICTURE FOR YOU. OR MORE LIKELY, MY BROTHER IN LAW WILL TAKE A PICTURE OF ME PASSED OUT IN A PUDDLE OF TENNENTS.

So true, I drink alcohol because I like the flavor, not to get drunk or even buzzed. Give me flavor or get lost (if you happen to be a beer brewer).
