I has a question.

When the clans decide to have a war, how do you tally the score, to know who won?

Is it by the countries you killed, the strings or how?

Next question as a follow up, why not have a penalty tag, like for example, a Sota country gets killed, to restart that country, he would have to tag it "SOTA-NA", or something like that, and it cant be involved anymore in the war, and it cant be hit and killed a second time. Then at the end, all the clans can count up all the dead tags and the rest of us can see it too? :)

How do you count your victories? I count mine by the number of restarts that HS is able to kill. LOL Can't kill any of my originals, so you focus on the Restarts. That's OK, because that just makes my originals that much more fearsome should you run out of restarts to kill. LOL

In the meantime, I keep on pounding away with a high degree of success.

I had one of your countries down to 136 buildings left on it. Tough to rebuild when you're building 4 or 5 buildings a turn and you've got 12K bare acres. :)

Like said before you can go by kills and networth. I also would agree it depends on the goal. If one clan is smaller and getting picked on sure they will loose a war if you are just looking at kills anf net. But if that small clan can get the bigg clan to start leaving them alone in my eyes thats a win. There are others reason a war will be fought so in a sense they might also be many ways to consider a victory. Its a point of view.

number of people in the war counts as well. as ANY large country can be killed by several smaller ones making NW pretty useless as a meassurement. Therefore, Number of participants is key factor in any math that should be done I should think. How you want to figure it in is up to you

Let's see... SOTA = 6 active players. HS = 11-12 active players + DoMstyle's 3 players.

Those numbers were taken by number of countries divided by 16 at the start of this war. I even factored in HS's claims to having two strings of countries belonging to a pair of inactives. I dropped two strings of countries from SOTA's tag because they belonged to inactives as well... which is why the warstats show SOTA started with 127 countries. After having dropped them, we dropped to 95 countries.

We can generally say at any one time, we have maybe three of our people on at any given time, given most of SOTA's membership lives in the Eastern U.S., with HS and DoMstyle, it all matters where their members are and their schedules.

Thanks guys, this makes sense, that it would depend on the different areas of focus. I like what Skulls said about the little ones being able to fight off the bigger ones, so that they will leave them alone. That was what i was trying to do the last couple of sets, and was getting hammered hard. But this set, everbodies has left me alone, to have some learning time, and I really have appreciated it.

A new friend in game, is helping me with the NW strategies, so hopefully, n the next set or two, I can have a better showing. :)

I am really honored that it took so many strings (so many countless spy ops) and effort to kill my string but jayR's top countries was mostly taken out by me alone not withstanding we had to face 2.5 : 1 ratio and HS had the FS.
