Because it's a problem, it IS a way to abuse the DR, and the problem isn't contingent on the topfeeder having a good finish, it's not best viewed in terms of benefit given but in terms of harm done, and the type of harm which is irreparable thanks to the DR. All of which makes this a form of DR abuse, it's made possible by the DR mechanic and it's an example of the DR mechanic being abused, and as I linked you, Warster said he would delete for it.
