Also you won't see ties on the Ghana/Portugal side either, because any scenario where Ghana/Portugal tie = USA advances no matter what. Lastly the boxes shaded white would mean the USA and Portugal are tied and a lottery/coin flip will be held by FIFA to decide which country advances. Yup, thats possible. The tiebreaking scenarios are this:

Points in 3 games
Goal Differential in 3 games
Goals Scored in 3 games
Points in games between teams tied
Goal Differential in games between teams tied
Goals scored in games between teams tied
Lottery/coin flip

Run through those and yeah, its possible to get down to a coin flip.
