How long do you need to be offline for you to receive bonus turns?

I'm new, what are the time periods for
3 turns?
6 turns?

What are these bonus points that I keep getting for voting for earth empires? And how do I use them?

you don't have to log off at all to get the bonus turns. You'll get 6 per day, if/when you log in or refresh the page. Same for the free 20 acres per day.

Click on bonus when in your country and you can see where to use those points. The link at the top shows information for each type of bonus.

Juice is correct, we no longer have to stay logged out. 12/18 are the times. But u can login whenever u like too

It is actually beneficial to log in - you get the turns earlier.

(I suspect they should simply be done away with. We don't have any trouble with too much activity.)

You can use the bonus points (not the same as bonus turns) to gain a range of benefits. Cheaper building costs; lower expenses; free GDI; a defence boost; extra production for a limited number of turns; or extra turns. If you are a beginner go for reduced expenses.

The issue with server overload ended around 1999 or so when the game was no longer run on a 486:P but people liked the bonus turns so the prior and current administrations opted to leave them in.

We discussed dropping them but decided against it.

If you stay logged in all day (even logged into your country), you'll never see the 6 turns. what you will see instead is that you get the 3 turn bonus twice during that day, which equals the 6 turns. You'll get the second bonus of 3 turns about 2 hours after the first one.

You'll only get a max of 6 bonus turns per day (not sure if this is per 18 hours or 24, but I think it's per 18). This would mean that you probably won't see a third bonus of 3 turns until 18 hours has passed after the second bonus.

You can also get bonus turns by PayPal'ing a game mod. Martian and Galleri are online most often, but martian has lower rates in terms of turns per dollar spent.

yea but mehul took those away.

i got 21 bonusturns on day 1 but after that its bit difficult.

That is lame. Why give the extra turns automatically? There's no reward for it.

Why not give free turns for "achievements," like +6 turns for reaching 1k land, +6 turns for reaching 5k land, +6 turns for destroying 1 million jets...etc?

Let people EARN the turns, not just hand them out to everyone.
