WHo knows which part of the formula is rounded/truncated?

NW = (Troops * 0.5) + (Jets * 0.6) + (Turrets * 0.6) + (Tanks * 2) + (Spies * 1) + (Tech * 2) + (Land * 45) + (Buildings * 35) + (Money / 20000) + (Food/1000) + (Missles * 2500) + (Pop/6) + (Oil/100)

ALSO-

Whats the LEAST amount of land you can EXPLORE if it says 'For each turn spent, you can claim about 45 acres of land.'

I saw somewhere that Everything gets rounded down before adding up to total nw, well food dont i think it was rounded off.

Yeah- it can't be round down. The outputs I'm getting are still too big. So something must be getting truncated off all together

Did you round down each component before you added them together. If so then I'm not sure sorry :-\

I get 27396920.80715 networth when i use the wiki networth formula. That's a huge difference from 34 mil...

the reason why the networth doesnt tally because he has alot of military on the market.

i've asked before, but nobody gave me an answer.. however lowest I got from a Non-Rep was 32 and highest 56.

And mind you his population is 0. So that's not the issue of the formula.

Ok after adding oil, I got:

Networth: 624817.1715

Still off. His networth is $624,816

So it appears something is either getting trucd off or rounded down.

I rounded everything down- still doesnt account for the $1 networth-... i beginning to think the formula is missing a '-1'. Cruel joke.

I would either forum PM qzjul or get on IRC and PM him there and idle.

It is why I do whenever I have a formula question. If he can't answer then you are fluffed.

Also, I believe there is still a wiki moderator, collaborate with him if you wish to update the wiki. I did a year stint as we the wiki mod as well so I'm sure I could coach you a bit but I wasn't that good at it. Anyone can edit the wiki. Your login is your forum login I believe.

It comes to be: 0.7366*min X & 1.2633*max X (Round down to nearest whole number with both) (ie. 9.9 = 9)
(percentages: apx 73.66% and 126.33%)


MinX = 0.7366*X-plore rate
MaxX = 1.2633*X-plore rate

PM him the link to this thread, or slagpit. he might be better and i have seen him around a bit recently.

Remember foodnw is rounded off not down.

So using the number 40A per xplore-

I get 29 min & 50 max

40*0.7366 = 29 (rounded down)
40*1.2633 = 50 (rounded down)

When you say rounded off- rounded off at what point?

.0375 = rounded down (2 places) = .03

.0375 = rounded off (2 places) = .03

You get same result, don't you?

This formula works. (Remove decimals of final output and -1)

T = Removes all decimals of entire equation.

The land expenses formula is wrong too:

Currently,

If land < 1500: (7 / 1500) * (Land^2) + (3 * Land)
Otherwise: 10 * Land

Needs update.

Whenever you EXPLORE, you rarely get the actual number which it states.

"For each turn spent, you can claim about 45 acres of land." Keyword *about*. We were looking for a formula which gave the limits.

But I think this solves it:

Using 32 and 56 as limits for xplore for non-R I reverse engineered a formula.

how sure are you about 32 and 56? that's based on my experience... no definite... the formula may differs

I had somewhere between 60-65 on one turn of exploring today as a commie.

Edit: I'm second guessing myself and thinking it may of been two turns.
