grabbing this time

I expect a few retals since I'm hitting non-rainbows who have turns left since I'm a noob at grabbing on express. If I hit you I fully encourage a retal, don't want to be hypocritical now would I?

I guess I should focus on the bots? I'm hoping none of the "bots" I hit are real players since I broke GDI.

(Mostly) you'll recognise the bots. Their names of course; they never attack anyone; they are hit by all the world and multi tapped freely; they play turns (and always change networth) very often; and after spying the configuration will be either no spies and lots of troops or an equal division between all the units (including spies).

A thing to be at least slightly aware of on Express is that timing your turns is an art. This was true before the bots but is even more true now.

I'm trying something new.. a demo Military Base reseller, converted from a demo techer. It probably won't do very well but its interesting.

Initial observers

Have not taken a retal yet, that may change by the end of the day. Please go for it if you can.

I'm well behind where I normally am with all-x + retal by this time on a Sunday. I did convert to a casher on Friday when I saw the tech market taking a dump, but I think this is mostly due to inefficient grabbing. Too many SS not enough PS, which was because I wanted to do it all at once, only being able to play a 2-3x a day.

Might try again next week. Unsure at this point. Definitely takes a lot more time and effort to grab instead of explore.

I was an all-x rep until a few weeks ago when I decided to try to learn how to play c/i. Grabbed more this week than in my life, and did it while traveling using phone, iPad, two different laptops and finally at home last night with my desktop. Probably will not do this again.

That sounds painful. I could not do it without my home setup with multiple screens. I could, but I'm not willing.

I always play on my desktop pc and have calculator handy, but it was anniversary weekend, so I had to improvise. Even using the calculator on the pc is a pain.

Many of our friends here, who are very good players, play only on their phone. I greatly admire them.

KoH posted earlier about a kill he made, saying "it was the quickest kill he ever made on his phone."

Yeah that is nuts. I play on my phone as a last resort and it is both tedious and frustrating.

Got 12th, better than I was expecting, but not that great. My land was low.
