It works and he wins more often than not, just seems boring to me.. more than half the fun of this game is messaging other players and trying to stonewall retals.. to each his own.. i guess I can't knock a strategy that wins!

I brought this up in another thread.

If you want to win, in the current state of express you must be willing to DT, TP, or even quadruple tap the bots.
It would be VERY hard to keep up with ebert and bepulse right now with their grabbing techniques.

I don't blame them one bit, I just avoid DT'ing because I don't want to deal with warring in case it's not a bot.

This is why I think the #1 priority for the bots right now should be to mask their identities better. Making it much harder if not impossible to differentiate from a normal player. That would slow down the farming and spread out the land a little better.

It's not a coincidence that NW records are being set most sets now.

I think the bots should be named after previously used player-run countries, and have the times they play turns be staggered, and have them log out with some turns on hand sometimes.

No idea how feasible any of that is, just spitballing.

But yea, I agree.. can't compete unless you adopt the boring strategy of farming bots. perhaps I should switch strategies and topfeed the fluff out of bot-farmers, that is probably a LOT more entertaining than farming bots.

Its hard work and boring farming the fluff out of the bots. And the only way to get anywhere as a farmer is to sell bushels on your PM. Its a grind.

You might not want to knock the strategy, but I will. With me the game is strategy and diplomacy, both missing w/ bots and the majority of the players here. Do as you do, but hit me and your game plan better be sound. And no, whining about retals, RoR on double taps, and the rest of that crap just doesn't cut it anymore. Hump your bots, but stop humping my leg.

if you want to pull my country name from team and then farm nina dobrev is an angel, it would cut me to the quick :(
