Its been kept hushed up I couldn't believe it until I went to mcdonalds an hour ago after I heard from my buddies while golfing and was shocked! mcdonalds coffee is tims coffee now :( and tims has taste like fluff for last month I thought they were trying to force people into like that dark roast crap by mixing it into their original blend but not the case they had to find a new distributor for their beans.

Coffee sucks. Coffee addicts are winey babies.

The two bonuses to mcdouchebags is that they give free small coffees out all the time with a 75 cent upgrade for a large and they have the sticker program going for them. Buy 7 (or get 7 free smalls when th special is on) and get a free coffee. Either one of those perks is better then anything timmies has ever done for their premium customers...

Only thing I ever get from mcdiks is coffee, everything else is just fluff

It sounds like a conspiracy theory to me. But there are plenty of bad things about Tim Hortons. I used to go to the original Tim Hortons on Ottawa St. in Hamilton every day when I lived there in the late 90's. It was just up from Stelco/ Dofasco. Then they renovated and "upgraded" it to the new style.

Here are my biggest Tim Hortons rants:
1) They treat their employees like slaves
2) They changed their cups so they were taller and narrower. They did this so they would look bigger, and so they could sneakily increase the price, as if it wasn't already way overpriced. The result is cups that are so tall that they tip over. Drinking Tim Hortons in your car is now more hazardous than texting because you are likely to pour coffee all over yourself.
3) They changed the cup lids so that they are as sharp as razors and cut your lip. You have to take the lid right off now, compounding the danger of (2).
4) They have recently stopped giving my dog a Timbit at the drive through. Thats just cheap and mean! The Tim Hortons workers are mostly really nice people, and they like animals, but the management is so cheap that they won't allow them to give away a free Timbit. Corporate greed gone mad!

Never got into it. I don't really do too much caffeine other than sweet tea. I don't actively avoid it, I just no longer have a taste for its main providers.

You can really only expect capitalist greed from American entities such as DD and KK, but for Tim Hortons, founded on the street which actually passed underneath the Dofasco Mill, at the center of the Canadian steel industry and bringing coffee and donuts to the most socialist union city in Canada, to merge with no less a monster than Burger King, is an affront to socialists everywhere.

Looks to me as though the golfers are the whiney babies...but I already knew that :P
