It'd be meaningless, even if Trump won a Nobel Peace Prize. They gave one to Obama before he did anything at all. Not that he's done anything good since then.

i always find it funny when people use obama as an example as to why the nobel peace prize is a joke. apparently arafat is not good enough for you folks!

Obama is the more recent example. If Trump were to win, he would become the most recent example.

I do believe giving the NPP to Obama will go down in history as their worst mistake. And I say that as someone who voted for him. When it was first announced I thought it was ridiculous (he hadn't done anything worthy yet) and in retrospect it was even more ridiculous (he hasn't lived up to his promises).

The Nobel Peace Prize 1994 was awarded jointly to Yasser Arafat, Shimon Peres and Yitzhak Rabin "for their efforts to create peace in the Middle East" - really, at least they were actively trying.
