Lol, that fluff is like a pellet gun on steroids. Not a large round, but pretty fast.

It's a devastating round Ford.... Shooting the hornady v-max out of it = rabbit with no more head.... No where near a pellet gun

I'll stick with my .223 for varmits! That is a fast round. The reason I said like a pellet gun was the caliber. Most are .17

And my knee knows all about Hornady rounds.

serves my needs i put a Nikon p-223 scope on it though lol so far i have been very happy with the scope and gun combo. I like the lighter round for where i am shooting it does not carry as far and if it hits anything it is pretty much dead in the water lol, my main target is ground hog and starling around the livestock barns

2500 fps is pretty quick

Its fun round to shoot at 200 yards in the wind. Makes nice big entries and bounces around inside a bunch. Makes rabbits heads look like they were hit with a sledge hammer.
