that depends if you are newbie or experienced player. as long as you publish your tag and contact leaders of alliances and stay out of their news laying solo is quite safe.

Solo tags are usually left alone as long as the major clans know you arnt a suicider and you stay out of their news.

Retal the few hits on you hard and you will be fine.

Do take retals on grabs, but do not use anything else other than a SS or a PS, otherwise its 100% guaranteed that you will end up being killed. :)
