In truth, I have a ton of respect for ebert both as a player and as a person. He's a real good one and I look forward to getting spanked by one of the game's best netters/people. His netting prowess is hard to ignore and although my chances of victory are slim, I hope to at least give him a good run for his money. Top ten in express history in TNW. Going to be a tough match haha.

If I lose this, I expect no less than to be trolled for weeks about being both a loon and an idiot for accepting a competition such as this. And if I win I'm gonna go absolutely bananas trolling him. But just to be completely up front, I like ebert a lot. Great guy. Great netter.

Results will be available Sunday night. Prepare your best insults for both of us (but work harder on mine because I've got a pretty slim chance haha). Let the official competition for infinite trolling rights begin!

Haha. I haven't played much express but I do have a couple top tens there so I'm not totally oblivious to how it goes there. If I don't get too much grief it should be a decent challenge for you (my only top tens are one where I forgot to fully destock and one where I was testing a tyr war build). Ideally if I put my best game forward I can give ya a good run.

its very true story Ivan. ICN was master of none in the last 5 or 6 years of its life. 50 mil avg nw... and could only war for 5 minutes a day. Only reason I took on that presidency was because i didnt want to quit the game, i had a quaint sense of loyalty back in those days (i still kinda do but irl more than anything), and because nobody else was willing to put in the work for it except for me and my VPs. We did it all... Basically ICN took pride in one thing. Tag protection. We took a lot of joy from raping on retals.

We don't know each others countries and most nw wins any strat. If either of us get suicided or farmed then the comp moves to the following week.

would have been a double except my blundered destock. had to recall bushels 3 times. ended up buying from myself on the market at 33 and selling privately for 25. 26 mill bushels that way lol. but still, PWNED.

Yeah there's getting beat and then there's getting your ass fully handed to you. I had a rough go of it mainly due to inexperience. Haha. I was kind of figuring out converting to a reseller the last day on the fly as I've only ever tried the server for a whole run two times and stayed techer for easy top tens both times. I started the set by accidentally clicking tyranny and having to convert twice. Then when I was at 37 bpt I accidently built 37 cs instead of farms. Had like 3 food fails one of which was during destock and hurt a ton. On top of all that someone stole about $85m cash off me. Lol.

To me the really embarrassing part is not getting schooled by ebert but getting beat by Vix with a commie techer. Haha.

So anyways. Where's my marshal thread? Flame away. Congrats ebert. I'll remind my drunk self to continue to put my sober self in awkward spots because I did have fun with the challenge and everything leading up to it. Even the set where we both got grief and killed like 4-5 countries haha. Well played.

Nah I challenged ebert to netting while drunk on a long lost thread. We just finally went thru with it. Was a good time haha.

Reku also challenged me to war but I think we mutually agreed that time constraints would put us so far behind that we'd likely both get farmed and end up killing on the same side of a war like we have many other times.
