I don't understand why you spend so much time grabbing all set for 100k + acres to then just drop them at the end of the set ?

It's to maximize the percentage of MB you have after you convert to theocracy. You stock all set as a farmer or casher, MBs are of no use.

As a theocracy with 100% MBs, you private market prices are really low so you can maximize your buyout.

less tech needed to max military tech and get max benefits of mil bases like archy said.

oil is used to generate enuf pm units to spend money what's left after bought out pm.

we do it to tempt people into land killing us.

well gdi and end of set humanitarians make it basically impossible.

50M turrets and 20M tanks helps too.

no if you are in same range and already jumped you just keep oil/food/money on hand for a few hits, I think losing around 20% end NW to kill someone and make them lost more then 70% is a good trade off.

in the days since unit creation via oil has been implemented I have fought very hard against myself to not kill people dropping to less then 80 acres.

it has been a really hard struggle for me the temptation is truly real, like last set with that 2 acre guy oh man I had smack my nuts against my chair quite hard to refrain.

last set 5th could have been killed 4th and 9th prolly only by 10th, 12th by 11th, 24th by 25th or 23rd.

killing 1st would have required 6 attacks which would been very costy.
