I think there was a lot higher ratio of younger players back in the Mehul days - although that could have been selective experience. Maybe this game just isn't as interesting to the 13-21 crowd anymore.

My cousin actually played Earth for a while back in the day, he thought it was pretty cool, he is 8 years younger than me. So, at time he was probably 8-12. But he stopped playing this game for runescape. I recentally tried to get him to play again, but he spends to much time on xbox live. He plays games like call of duty and such. And they have their own clans and message boards.

NOW3P: I didn't any reference to any individual or individuals and how they raise their children. My statement was a general one.

But the point still stands. Yes I do think it is stupid to stop soemone in that age group from participating in a game like this for those reasons. In a overall cost/benefit analysis I think there are a lot more positives to be had in this game than there is for a lot of the other stimuli that kids are gaining negative influances from.

I'm not saying kids shouldn't play. I don't think anyone here is, as a matter of fact - only that there are certain things in EE.com and boxcar.com that kids that age shouldn't see.

I would let my own son play when he was 14, but only on the condition that I knew he didn't have access to stuff like shaved ninja girls on boxcar global, the pr0n dungeon in iMag, and the like - of course there's plenty of that out there for him to find on his own, but I'm also not gonna go waving it in front of his face or miss an opportunity to give something that he otherwise isn't mentally/hormonally (sp?) equipped to fully understand some context instead of letting him draw his own conclusions whenever I'm able.

If you disagree, you are free to raise your children otherwise - if you don't have kids, I'll be interested to see if you still think what you think now when you do.

Concur with nowep.

Kids have got access to that kind of stuff if they want. But its not good to be waving it around in their faces.

But i also agree with h4x0r. The amount of stuff kids see on tv and see in video games is insane anyway. So kids would have seen worst than what we say and post on this game.

Why? I think adult swim would be the perfect forum for your son to enter adulthood in :D

Honestly, I think I'd rather my imaginary son/daughter play ee than minecraft. Minecraft is... dangerously addictive...
